Oh and I deffently have full Admin rights as its my PC and I am the sole administrator. My problems seems to have started when I installed Zone Alarm Pro with webfiltering ive tested it on my lap top and it seems to stop websites with flash from playing correctly. Well ive uninstalled Zone Alarm from my PC but i cant download Flash Player I get to icons meaning it cant load 2 things.Ive done everything your website has recommend although you say it is possible that the IE needs to be reinstalled I dont think this is possible as windows XP uses this as part of the operating system. You may have a few million yours downloading fine but this doesent expline why your fix guides done seem to fix some users issues. It's so little work and It'llgive so many people Flash back.Thank you for replying here to some of our difficulties. First, I'd like to say that I figured out why the Flash player would not download onto my system. It was as simple as setting both my Privacy and Security setting to their lowest positions temporarily until the download completed. Happily I now have resolved this trying issue. Also, you should know that my opsys is WinXP Professional w/ SP1a and all MS Updates properly applied. I am unaware of what the authoring forum you reference is or where it is located. If you would describe what you mean, we may be better able to understand you.Finally, it is somewhat condescending to suggest that when end users are having difficulties with software that 38 million others download the Flash player without incident. Because I personall did not fall into that happy group, I felt somewhat disenfranchised with that portion of your response.Please do not take my constructive critisism personally. I only want to advise of my reaction.Again, thank you for being here and I hope you may have learned from my resolution of this problem.You are very nice.. and well.. maybe you can help me here.. I'm just pretty much a well-informed housewife using the computer.. and I've tried everything.. even your low security and safety settings, and Flash absolutely will not run.. it's installed.. but won't run..
