I use Internet Explorer, so it came up with a page having the Quicktime logo in it, and then played the video back right from inside the browser. As it should. What did you expect? That the Quicktime player would pop up? That would depend on the computer I guess. I expect mine to come up in the browser and yours did. When I had Windows 98I could easy download QT Movies to my Temporary Internet Folder. But now Ican't do it.Maybe I'm doing something wrong :After opening QT Player I go to Edit, Preferences, Quick Time Preferences,Browser Plug-in, and I checked: Save movies in disk cache. In Windows 98 Icould then go to IE temp. folder and copy movie I downloaded. Right now whenI use search for mov. it does'n t find any Quick Time Movie.
