(ten RPM installs later.... :-)thanks for the tip; I never knew that and I've wanted a linux WMV playerfor awhile now. if there just existed a quicktime player, I could diehappy (because I'd basically never have to switch to windows again)!mplayer and xanim can play (some) quicktime videos. However, I thinkthere are some codecs that neither program supports yet.
